Ink and Wash Chickens

We’re headed to the farm! While visiting my in-laws I spent some quality time with their chickens. The beautiful ladies provided a wealth of inspiration for my sketchbook and excellent practice in breaking down a subject into shapes. Plus it made my sketchbook look adorable. Join me for some practice in simplifying a subject and using the ink and wash technique as we play around, get messy and make mistakes. This week is focused more on practice and playing than a finished composition so it’s perfect for sketchbooks.
